POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Neighborhood Center is taking orders for the October Food Sense program that allows customers to buy a food package valued at $25-30 for $15.50.
The October package consists of one pound each of boneless skinless chicken, ground beef, polish sausage, fish sticks, 20 ounces of roasted potatoes, 7.25 ounces of macaroni and cheese, eleven ounces of frozen vegetable blend, one pound of white rice, fifteen ounces of canned Corn and applesauce, and two fresh produce items. Call 265- 3920 for add-on bonus items and to place your order, before Oct. 10.
Pick is Oct. 24 from 10:30 a.m. and noon or 1 to 3 p.m. Anyone who receives SNAP or Food Stamps is encouraged to use them to purchase their Food Sense package.
