POTSDAM – The Potsdam Public Museum will host an exhibit opening and memorial tree lighting Sunday, Dec. 2.
The exhibit on Victorian Christmas and Victorian style will open at 2 p.m. during the holiday open house at the museum civic center, 2 Park St.
The Handbell Choir will perform seasonal music and the Fran Dixon memorial tree will be lit at 2:15 p.m., with a dedication by Becky Harblin.
The exhibit will showcase items for past Christmases, including 19th century toys, dolls, a Victorian parlor, Victorian fashion and accessories, historical Christmas postcards, Victorian teddy bears, illustrations, Victorian silver and a New York Central Lionel train.
