POTSDAM -- A new name and a new spuds and toppings dinner will greet visitors to Potsdam United Methodist Church’s annual bazaar Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3 and 4.
The “Autumn Showcase” bazaar runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church, 26 Main St.
The baked potato dinner featuring super-sized spuds with choices of toppings including chili, cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream, and more runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday. The meal is eat-in or take-out. Admission to the bazaar is free; the dinner, which includes salad, beverage and dessert, is $7 per person.
The bazaar features a large variety of handmade and craft goods, fresh veggies, candy and baked goods, miscellaneous items, knitted and crocheted items, books, decorative items, jewelry, small appliances and more. The bazaar continues from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, when coffee and tea and baked goods will also be offered for sale.
