POTSDAM -- Bright yellow vests will identify members of the Potsdam Lions Club as they appear in front of local businesses for the annual White Cane Sale on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27 and Oct. 2-3.
Lions will be at Potsdam IGA on Elm Street, Kinney Drugs on Market Street and Kinney's Clarkson Avenue location, and Walmart.
Lions use White Cane donations locally to provide vision screening for young children, provide eyeglasses for children who cannot afford them and collect used eyeglasses to be sent to individuals in developing nations.
Potsdam Lions meet on the first and third Tuesday of the month, beginning with a 5:30 p.m. social time at Between the Buns on Elm Street. For more information on Lions call 261-4001.
