POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Kiwanis Club will hold its annual pancake breakfast Oct. 18 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The breakfast will be at a new location this year…the Town Hall Community Room 18 Elm Street. The breakfast cost $6 for adults and $5 for seniors or students w/ID. Children under 5 are free. The all-you-can-eat menu includes pancakes, with select add-ins such as blueberries or chocolate chips. French toast with a selection of toppings like real maple syrup or butter will be tempting to others. There will also be scrambled eggs, sausage links, coffee, tea, orange juice, milk, and cocoa.
Along with the breakfast there will be an auction of donated items. Those that purchase tickets will then place a ticket(s) in the corresponding bag of the item they would like to try and win. One ticket from each bag will be drawn at the end of the event.
All proceeds go to support the Kiwanis Club’s children’s projects and scholarship award. The Potsdam Kiwanis Club has been serving the Potsdam community for 25 years. If you are interested in Kiwanis, contact club President Marylee Ballou at meballoukiwanis@yahoo.com.
