POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Hospital Guild will host a tour featuring Potsdam village gardens on June 14 from 9:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. rain or shine.
Register at Potsdam Agway, 14 Pine St. from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The first 25 to register receive a free gift. The cost is $12.
Tour recipients receive guide brochures with directions and garden descriptions. Balloons mark each garden.
There will also be a presentation by Cornell Cooperative Extension at Willow Tree, 7580 U.S. Highway 11 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. A master gardener will provide information on container gardening.
A greenhouse lunch will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 at Willow Tree. Reservations are needed by June 10. The cost is $13. Make checks payable to the Potsdam Hospital Guild and send a check to Sue Dougherty, 6662 CR 24, Colton, NY 13625.
All proceeds benefit Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
