POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St., will hold its 15th annual baking contest and silent auction Sunday, Dec. 2 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Carriage House, behind the Co-op.
Bakers of all levels of proficiency are invited to participate by baking two of a favorite treat to submit. Categories for submissions include cookies, desserts, special diet, and savory. One of the treats submitted will be divided for sampling and a silent vote by attendees, and the second will displayed at the “auction showcase” for bidding.
The highest bidder on each treat wins the item. The baker with the most votes in each category will win a $25 gift card from the Co-op. All proceeds will be donated to the Potsdam Neighborhood Center.
To register, or for more information, stop by the Co-Op, visit www.potsdamcoop.com, or contact Lynn at 265-4630 or lynn@potsdamcoop.com.
