POTSDAM – The Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St., will host the second event in their “Four Fabulous February Samplings” on Feb. 13 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The Carriage House Bakery and Deli’s expanded lunch and dinner selections will include a curried chickpea salad, which blends nutritious legumes with sweet red peppers, red onions, and a blend of olive oil, cider vinegar, and spices. The salad is includes local maple syrup and golden raisins.
Organic udon noodles are the foundation of their peanut sesame noodles, which will also be offered for sampling. The Asian salad combines a mixture of organic peanut butter, organic tahini, sesame and peanut oils, soy sauce, cider vinegar, spices, and local honey, all tossed with carrots, red peppers, and sesame seeds.
