POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St., will feature new Cabot cheeses for October's “Third Thursday Tastings” Oct. 17 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Shoppers are invited to try three new cheese blends from Cabot, the farm family dairy cooperative in Vermont. Featured will be a hand-rubbed tuscan cheddar. Seasoned with bell pepper, fennel and onion, it is likened to a pizza without the crust.
A hot buffalo wing cheddar, described as a blistering hot buffalo wing sauce hand-rubbed into a cool and creamy cheddar will be available.
The general manager's favorite, the everything bagel cheddar is a mix of all the herbs and spices you would find on an everything bagel, hand-rubbed into a block of creamy cheddar cheese.
