POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Elks Lodge will host their annual hockey shoot at 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 16 at Pine Street Arena.
It is open to any youth age 13 and under. The shoot is free and every registered shooter receives a t-shirt. The top three contestants will receive a prize.
No hockey experience is required. Shooters will be divided into groups according to age. They will take five shots at a skills net.
All shots will be stationary shots and points will be awarded for level of difficulty.
Parental permission is required.
Pre-registration slips will be available at local ice rinks, and the Potsdam Elks Lodge Facebook page. You can also register the day of the event. For more info, call Mary at 566-9058 or Bruce at 212-0248.
