POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Elks Lodge hosts a youth soccer shoot at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at SUNY Potsdam’s Maxcy Hall, by the tennis courts.
Boys and girls ages 14 and under are invited to participate with no minimum age.
Youth 10 and under will shoot at five goals beginning at 48 inches wide gradually moving down to 17 inches wide. Points will be awarded for number of goals scored on each net. Youth over age 10 will shoot at a regulation net holding a grid of nine sections. Points will be awarded according to difficulty of shot made.
Winners from each age group will receive a trophy and will move on to the district shoot Sept. 29 in Liverpool.
