POTSDAM -- Potsdam Community Chorus has launched its 2017 fundraiser, “Columbus Day Weekend in the Woods.”
The chorus is selling tickets to win a weekend for four, Oct. 6-9, at a private cabin in the woods at Raquette Lake.
Tickets are $5 each.
Only 200 tickets are available.
The drawing will be held Friday, July 14, at a time and place to be announced.
For tickets call 315-244-9299.
The weekend includes a complimentary dinner cruise (fine dining and a tour of Raquette Lake with Captain Dean Pohl) aboard the W.W. Durant Saturday, Oct. 7.
The winner may also choose to visit The Tap Room for a Friday night fish fry, see historic Camp Sagamore or tour the Adirondack Experience (formerly the Adirondack Museum).
The mixed-voice Community Chorus will resume rehearsals in the fall. Its members are drawn from North Country communities and local colleges and universities.
