POTSDAM -- Potsdam Community Chorus will host its 15th anniversary celebration concert with a performance of Mozart’s Requiem Mass in D minor, with orchestra and soloists.

The concert will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in Hosmer Concert Hall, Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam.

Soloists are all Crane alumni and local music educators. They are Laura Gilbert, soprano; Kimberly Busch, mezzo-soprano; Jonathan Burnett, tenor; and George Scoville-Upham, bass.

The concert is free. The chorus will accept donations to help fund the orchestra and soloists for the Mozart, and support musical outreach programming.

The chorus is made up of community residents from around the North Country and students from local colleges and universities. The musical director and conductor is Tammara Madeja.

The celebration includes drawings for 15 gift baskets – a basket for each year the chorus has been making music. Tickets are $5 each, five for $20, available from chorus members and before and after the concert. Because there is no intermission, buyers will have an additional 15 minutes following the concert to make purchases. Baskets will be on display in the lobby. Ticket sales and drawings will be held there.

Baskets include an evening of holiday music basket, chocolate lover’s basket, fireside basket, gift wrap basket, Italian basket, knitting basket; lottery basket, North Country breakfast basket, pampered chef basket, pet basket, scrapbook basket, spa basket, student basket, tea basket and a wine basket.
