POTSDAM – Potsdam Community Chorus rehearsals led by musical director Tammara Madeja begin at 7 p.m. Jan. 20 in room C-107 at the Crane music building on SUNY Potsdam campus.
All voice parts are welcome. Rehearsals are held at 7 p.m. each Monday and participants are asked to arrive by 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 20 to pay for dues and music.
Dues are $25 for community members ($20 family rate); and music is $20. Selections for the April 13 concert include a medley from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, “Somewhere” and “Tonight” from Bernstein’s West Side Story, “Make our Garden Grow,” from Bernstein’s Candide, and selections from Copland’s The Tender Land.
