POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Community Band is seeking members to begin rehearsals Nov. 4 in preparation for the winter concert Jan. 19 in Hosmer Hall.
Membership is open to all adults who play traditional wind band instruments: woodwinds, brasswinds, and percussion. High school aged musicians can participate with a recommendation from their music teacher.
Rehearsals are led by Theresa Witmer and are scheduled for Nov. 4, and 18, Dec. 2 and 16, and Jan. 6 and 13 at the Potsdam High School band room at 7 p.m.
A final pre-concert dress rehearsal will be Jan. 16 from 7 to 9:30 pm in Hosmer Hall at SUNY Potsdam.
There will be no formal auditions.
