POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Community Band will give a concert in Ives Park as part of Potsdam Summer Festival Friday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m.
The concert will include Henry Fillmore’s “The Klaxon” and David Holsinger’s “Prairie Dances.”
“Satchmo,” a combination of several songs by trumpeter Louis Armstrong, will also be shared.
“Candlewood Capers,” by Potsdam composer Arthur Frackenpohl, is also on the playlist.
The band will also play selections from the 1964 movie “Mary Poppins.”
The band also plans to play original music by Jan Van der Roost, as well as music from several video games.
John Philip Sousa’s “The Gallant Seventh” will wrap up the concert.
