POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce will welcome Verville’s Flowers to the Potsdam business community on Wednesday, April 27, at 5:30 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Verville’s Flowers opened its doors at 69 Market St. earlier this month.
“Owner Rachel Hurlbut was already running a successful shop in Massena and wanted to provide her floral offerings to the Potsdam area, and found a wonderful downtown location to achieve her goal,” Potsdam Chamber Executive Director Marylee Ballou said.
“A ribbon cutting ceremony is an opportunity for other businesses, community members, and government officials to personally meet the owner and welcome them, find out a little more about the business, and give the owner a chance to offer thanks to those that have supported their efforts,” Ballou said.
