POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is again hosting a Hockey Night in Potsdam Feb. 18, including a puck-shot contest with a chance to win a new Jeep Wrangler from Blevins Motors.

The chamber is selling tickets to the Clarkson University - Colgate University game at Cheel Arena. Hockey Night ticket-holders will have a chance to participate in the Make the Shot, Win a Jeep Contest.

Tickets are $13 each and, thanks to Clarkson, $10 from each ticket sold will go back to the chamber.

Three people will be chosen to go onto the ice at second intermission to try and shoot a puck from far up ice through a slot a little larger than a puck in a board placed over the goal.

“Blevins sponsored this event last year during our hockey night fundraiser,” said Potsdam Chamber Executive Director Marylee Ballou. “Our third shooter was pretty close and a similar contest in Massena recently had a winner, so the task is possible.”

The chamber will also be giving away some Potsdam Gift Certificates to randomly chosen ticket holders.
