POTSDAM -- The Robert J. Freego Amvets Post 282, 6771 U.S. Highway 11, will host a meet-and-greet April 30 at 2 p.m.
This is open to all area Amvets, Sons of Amvets and auxiliary members in the North Country along with their guests.
There will be free food at 4:30 for all attendees along with a 50/50 raffle.
The post encourages any veteran, son of a veteran or any women who may be eligible for auxiliary membership to visit the post Wednesday through Saturdays and pick up an application.
