POTSDAM -- The Robert J Freego AMVETS Post 282 will conduct a flag retirement ceremony at their post, 6771 US Highway 11, on June 14 at 7 p.m.
The retirement will be performed by members of the local Boy Scout Troop 27.
The Post encourages the public to bring worn and unusable flags for proper retirement.
AMVETS post members will be on hand to collect flags and members of the community will be encouraged to participate in the ceremony if they wish to do so.
