CANTON -- The Grasse River Players will present “Postmortem” by Ken Ludwig 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday Feb. 17-19 in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church.
Directed by Dorothy Mallam, the show will offer mystery, suspense, melodrama, murder, séances and a surprise ending.
Several restaurants are offering a complimentary glass of wine with each dinner entrée and the presentation of a ticket for “Postmorem.” They include the Best Western, Blackbird Café, Cascade, The Club, Josie’s McCarthy’s, Sergis’ and The Spicy Iguana.
Reservations are recommended for dinner.
Performers will include David Tisdale, who plays William Gillette of Sherlock Holmes fame; Stephen J. Majer, an actor and bon vivant; Libby Brandt as Gillette’s aunt and Karen Wells as an actress and Gillette’s sister. Flip Filippi plays an actress in the current Sherlock Holmes play with Gillette.
Newcomers are Hannah Harvester as an actress formerly starring with Gillette and Mike Weller making his debut as an actor with GRP.
