OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce and the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad have scheduled the 12th Polar Bear Plunge fundraiser for Saturday, March 10 the Dobisky Visitor’s Center.
Registration will be held from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The plunge will start at 1 p.m.
Registration is $50, which participants often raise through pledges.
There will be prizes for plungers, a Badge Battle between local law enforcement officers and emergency workers, and Scaredy-Cat Club for those to scared to plunge who still want to help raise money for the two organizations.
There will be hot showers for plungers, food, raffles and family activities.
Donatons of pet food or supplies will be accepted for the St. Lawrence Valley SPCA.
Admission to watch the plunge is free.
