PIERREPONT -- The Pierrepont Volunteer Fire Department Open Boundaries Ice Fishing Tournament is set for Jan. 26.
Weigh-ins will run through 5 p.m. at the fire station, 62 Old Country Rd.
The largest pike taken and the largest walleye are worth $250 prizes each, with other prizes for second and third places.
In the 15-and-under division, the largest perch and the largest crappie win $50 each., and second and third place prizes.
Registration before the tournament is due by 6 p.m. Jan. 25, and can be done at TNT Tackle, Hill Top Hunting, Ames General Store, Country Store Hannawa Falls, Northwood Outfitters, Massena Bait & Tackle and Lamphears Market, at $25 for adults and $15 for those 15 years old and under.
Registration also qualifies entries for door prizes, including ice augers, shelters, sleds, tip-ups and more.
Awards and door prizes will happen after the weigh-in, at about 6 p.m.
New York State fishing regulations apply.
