POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Ask the Physician series continues July 19, with Pharmacist Christopher Boiallis at 6:30 p.m. in the second floor conference rooms A&B, 50 Leroy St.
Boiallis will discuss prescriptions and over-the-counter medications and therapies, and how they can adversely impact each other’s protocols when combined, or when expired.
“Many medications today have contraindications that may impact their efficacy, or have significant impacts when taken in conjunction with other medications or therapies. Likewise, using medications past their expiry dates, including sunscreens, seriously lessen their ability to do their job,” said Boiallis.
The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served. Reservations are required as seating is limited.
Contact Deborah Lauther at 261-5413, or dchaselauther@cphospital.org by July 17 to reserve your seat.
