POTSDAM – Creative Spirit Community Art Center has put out a call for artists for the “Bow Wow – Meow Meow” pet art show to take place during Potsdam Spring Fling.

Those with original artwork that is pet related may bring it to Creative Spirit from April 8 through April 12 between the hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

All mediums will be accepted as long as the work can fit through the door.

There are no age limitations to enter work and there is no entry fee. Each piece must be clearly labeled with the artist’s name, address and phone number and be accompanied by a tag with the artist’s name, medium and title.

After the show, work can be picked up April 25 through April 29.

The Pet Show will feature original “tail wagging” painting created by our pet friends at the Potsdam Humane society. These original painting will be sold at silent auction during the Potsdam Spring Fling celebration April 15 – April 16 with all proceeds going to the Potsdam Humane Society.

Opening night for the “Bow Wow – Meow Meow” Pet Show will be Friday, April 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. Doggie hors d’oeuvres will be served along with appetizers for their humans. Live music will be provided by Jack Kelly’s Big Band as well as other entertainment.

All festivities will take place at Creative Spirit Community Art Center located at 8 Raymond St.
