SARANAC LAKE – One of the most celebrated novels of all time, Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird, is a story that Pendragon Theater is honored to tell.
The central plot, based on a 1936 incident in the author’s Alabama hometown, revolves around racial injustice. Also a coming of age story, it gains a compelling universality through its examination of courage and compassion in the face of prejudice.
The production opens Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. Subsequent performances in Saranac Lake are: Nov. 17, 18, 19, 30 at 7 p.m. and also, Dec. 1, 2 at 7 p.m. The only matinee is Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m.
Please note: there will not be a performance on the evening of Dec. 3 as previously announced. The production will return to Saranac Lake for only one more performance as a part of the Winter Carnival on Feb. 11 at 7:30.
Ticket prices are $20 adult, $18 senior and $10 for people under 17.
