NORWOOD — A peace poetry workshop will be held for grades kindergarten through 12 Friday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m. at the Public Library, 1 Morton St.
Young writers can attend to write poetry with interns for the annual Peace Poetry Contest put on by SUNY Potsdam.
Writing exercises will be available for students of all grades, and everybody will be welcome to submit their poetry to the contest.
Selected poems will be featured in this year’s Peace Poetry Calendar, and the authors of those poems will be invited to participate in the Peace Poetry Contest Reading on the SUNY Potsdam Campus April 29.
