CANTON -- Renowned science journalist, paleoclimatologist and Paul Smith’s College professor Curt Stager will kick off the spring 2014 Sustainability Lecture Series at SUNY Canton.
He will discuss climate change at 6 p.m. Jan. 29 in Kingston Theater. The free event is open to the public.
Stager is author of several books, including "Deep Future: The Next 100,000 Years of Life on Earth," and the co-host of North Country Public Radio's "Natural Selections." He was recently honored as New York State's Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
