OGDENSBURG -- Patridge Run golf course is hosting a kick-off event for the "North Country Walk To End Alzheimer's" on July 20 at the Dobisky Visitors Center, 100 Riverside Dr.
The free event will run from noon to 4 p.m.
Team registrations should be sent to Michelle Durham, Stepping Stones, 221 Hamilton St., Ogdensburg, NY 13669.
Those not participating in the walk can bring a lawn chair and partake in festivities. There will be live music, a barbeque, face painting and raffles.
There will be an unveiling for the Wall of Memories, which is made to honor those afflicted with Alzheimer's.
The event is get teams registered for the actual walk, which is in September.
