OGDENSBURG – St. Lawrence County residents can turn their old prom dresses into cash at the Ogdensburg Pride and Beautification Commission’s “Prom Dress Extravaganza.”
The commission is seeking people interested in selling their dresses at the event Feb. 8 event. All dress sales will be subject to 30 percent commission payable to the OP&BC.
At the “extravaganza” prom goers will have a chance to view, wear and purchase used prom dresses and accessories.
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sherman Inn, 615 Franklin St., Ogdensburg.
Admission is $5.
Anyone interested in selling a dress should call John Wade at Sherman Inn 713-4672. Drop off times will be from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Friday, 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday and 9-10 a.m. Sunday.
The event will include live models, jewelry designers and salon experts.
