CANTON -- Kids are invited to bring a friend to play parlor games and enjoy a cup of tea with Silas and Clarissa Wright at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Second Saturday Children's Program at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St.
Admission is free and the program is geared for ages 4-10 and their caregivers. Kids have the opportunity to partake in a tea party, in honor of Silas Wright's birthday, play some 19th century parlor games, learn how to make and drink a proper cup of tea, and share a cup of tea (apple juice) and scones.
In addition to caregivers, kids are encouraged to bring a friend, whether a live person, a favorite doll or stuffed animal to share in the fun of this free program.
