PARISHVILLE -- The Parishville-Hopkinton Central School Follies will host “The Book Revue” musical Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium.
A young girl moves to a new town and spends all her time at the local library. Hoping to connect with her, the librarian introduces her to classic children’s literature, but the characters leap right off of the pages.
Characters from “Where the Wild Things Are,” “Cinderella,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Oliver,” “The Wizard of Oz” and “Mary Poppins” will make appearances.
David Eames will play Fagin (Oliver), Ben (The Secret Garden) and the Cowardly Lion (The Wizard of Oz). Colin Myers will portray Baloo the Bear and the Tin Man.
Mike Burns will be King Louis (The Jungle Book), Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid), Archibald Craven (The Secret Garden) and Bert (Mary Poppins).
Tanner Wilson will play Sebastian (The Little Mermaid), Dickon (The Secret Garden), and Dodger (Oliver). Shawntel Courtney will be Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Scarecrow (The Wizard of Oz) and Mary (Mary Poppins).
Other cast members will include Alison Parker, Nicole White, Nicole Ellis, Makayla Sharlow, Rebecca Mitchell, Kayla Myers, Bailey Reid, Anise Sago, Olivia Collins, Hannah Hannon, Shaylyn Guyette, Emma Snell, Jayce Shanti, Allaina Zellweger, Alex Anderson, Jacob Fisher, Nick Phippen, Brenna Woods, Hannah Butterfield, Sydnie Phippen, Erica Sloan, Brynn Reid, Daisy Leibfred and Madelynn Barr.
Tickets will be $7 for adults or $5 for students and seniors at the door.
