OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce will hold a parade of classic cars Saturday, June 1.

The parade will begin at Walmart and continue along Ford Street to the Visitor’s Center, finishing with a display along the waterfront on the law of the city marina.

A motorcycle display will be included this year, and Seaway Valley Jumpers will provide a bounce house for children.

The 10th Mountain Division Band will perform a concert from noon to 2 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy jazz, rock and patriotic selections.

Craft vendors and the Ogdensburg GreenMarket will also be featured.

An old fashioned ice cream truck, burgers and hot dogs, sausage and peppers and a bake sale will be available.

Judging will be held at 2 p.m., with winners of the best in show, people’s choice, ladies’ choice and president’s choice to receive the Piston Trophy.

Twenty other trophies will be awarded in categories like best street rod, best flames, best 50’s car and best classic.

The annual grille raffle will also be held.

Registration for cars will begin at 10 a.m. at the Walmart parking lot.

The registration fee will be $7, with motorcycles free to display.
