OXBOW -- The Oxbow Volunteer Fire Company will hold an open boundary bass tournament Saturday, June 29.
The tournament will take place on a “free weekend,” with no fishing license required. Register Friday, June 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. or Saturday, June 29 from 5 to 9 a.m. in the fire hall. Weigh-in of live fish will be from 5 to 6 p.m.
The entry fee will be $20 for a two-person team.
The “biggest lunker” pool will be $5. One winner will receive a $175 prize.
Other prizes will also be featured. A winner will also be selected for the kids’ largest pan fish for kids age five to 12. Hot dogs, sausages and hamburgers will be available.
