TURIN -- An overnight Girl Scout trip will be held at South Lewis Central School June 28 and June 29.
The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next morning.
Girl Scouts will learn new skills and try new activities. They will take part in sessions on the environment and bullying and participate in activities such as swimming or Zumba.
Scouts will also do service projects. Girls that bring a non-scout friend will receive a patch.
The cost will be $2 per girl and $1 per adult. Non-scouts can join the scouts by paying the $12 registration fee. Financial assistance is available.
