NORWOOD -- LibraryPalooza, held recently by the Norwood Public Library, was attended by over 100 people, according to Library Director Cheryl A. Mirer.
LibraryPalooza, the kick off for the summer reading program, included live music, art projects, food, a book sale, and raffles.
The raffle prize winners were:
• Sharon Bishop - Kindle
• Rita Jackson - canvas library bag of books and the Ashley House candle bowl
• Suzanne LaPage and Lila Waldruff - canvas library bag of books
• Tanner Jay of Norwood - Lobster House gift certificate
• Ann Jay of Norwood - Northwoods Furniture gift certificate
The summer reading program will run for a month, ending with the “gravitational bull” juggling act Thursday, Aug. 1 at 5 p.m. at the library.
Next year’s LibraryPalooza will be June 14, 2014.
