Oswegatchie Blueway Trail officials will hold three public meetings regarding trail study.
They will meet Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. at the Ogdensburg Dobisky Center, 100 Riverside Ave.
On Sept. 23 at noon, they will be at the Clifton Community Library at 7171 State Rte. 3 in Cranberry Lake.
At 4 p.m. the same day, they will be at Canton’s TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.
“The purpose of the study is to identify strategies for economic development and sustainable tourism through recreational access to the Oswegatchie River and the many other year-round recreation resources along the river corridor,” an email from Blueway officials reads. “The study commenced in the late spring. This is the second of three rounds of meetings and open houses on the project. Participants can expect an update on the project and will be invited to give their input on preliminary plan elements. Results from the July public meetings as well as the project survey will also be available for review.”
