OGDESNBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center will offer an ostomy support group on the second Thursday of each month. Support groups are held at 1 p.m. in conference room C with a meeting slated for Feb. 11.
The support group offers the opportunity to speak with a person with a wider range of experience with an ostomy.
Advice, information and emotional support can be gained from people who have gone through a similar experience, and to improve their skills in managing the ostomy.
