MASSENA -- A portion of East Orvis Street will be blocked off on while Frenchie’s hosts their “Great Northern New York Auto Show” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Event organizers expect more than 100 entries from the U.S. and Canada.
Last year’s event was open only to Chevrolet Corvettes and Ford Mustangs.
This year, people can enter any show car or truck.
There will be a bouncy house, a dunking booth and displays from Massena and Hogansburg-Akwesasne volunteer fire departments and Massena Rescue.
The event will also include a 50/50 drawing, other fundraisers for the Boys and Girls Club of Massena and food vendors.
“Last year’s Corvette and Mustang show was a great success”, said Frenchie’s President Real “Frenchie” Coupal. “We wanted to try something different this year.”
“Muscle car shows are very popular all across the country,” said show Chairperson Sue Stiles. “If everything goes according to plan this should turn out to be one of the largest this area has seen.”
