POTSDAM -- The Orchestra of Northern New York presents “Romantic Giants” on April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Hall, SUNY Potsdam.
The concert will be conducted by Kenneth Andrews with soloist Paul Wyse on piano.
Featuring two of the most famous and most popular romantic works, the great Piano Concerto No. 2 of Rachmaninoff and the passionate Symphony No. 8 by Antonin Dvorak.
The concert also includes the World Premiere of the Silver Overture by Harold Levin, composed as a gift to Kenneth Andrews and the Orchestra of Northern New York in celebration of the Orchestra’s first 25 years and beginning of the next.
Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for senior citizens, 62 years and older; $10 for students and free for children 12 years and under.
