CANTON -- Deep Root Center for Self-Directed Learning, 17 Main St., will host an open house June 3 featuring African drumming and dance with Len Mackey.
The event takes place at 7 p.m. A question and answer period about all of the programming at Deep Root Center will follow the hands-on, collective performance.
The center is offering week-long themed summer workshops, July 21- Aug. 22, for kids ages 7-15.
A diverse schedule is planned including: Theater for Kids with Karen Wells (two sessions), African Drumming and Dance with Len Mackey, All Things Food: Farming, Cooking, & Nutrition, and Grab Bag.
