WADDINGTON -- Lake Saint Lawrence Arts, a St. Lawrence County arts promotion organization, will host an open house at The Gallery on May 6 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The Gallery, 10 Main St., is a member-supported artists’ cooperative, open to the public, where participating, juried artists can show and sell artwork and teach classes.
It features a shop, a rotating featured artist exhibit, and a classroom. Future plans include private and shared artist studio space upstairs and in the historic Clark House next door.
The Old Town Hall Auditorium located at 38 Main Street, Waddington, is their performing arts venue.
They plan events on Saturday nights year round.
The goup says they invite fine artists, performers, musicians, comedians, writers, poets, theatrical and dancers to the event.
They will celebrate a grand opening for The Gallery later in May.
