GOUVERNEUR – The Gouverneur Fire Department, 1035 U.S. Highway 11, will host their first annual open boundary fishing derby on Feb. 22.
Participants can register Feb. 21 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the department or on Saturday morning beginning at 4 a.m.
The entry fee is $15. Registration forms are available at J & H Feeds, 1133 U.S. Highway 11.
All northern pike must be the legal length of 18 inches to qualify.
All entries must be received by 5 p.m.
Prizes will be drawn at 5:30 p.m. at the station.
