OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Visitor's Center will host Ogtoberfest Saturday Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Music, food, beer, and fireworks will be featured in the afternoon and evening, but children’s activities, including face painting and games, will be offered beginning at 11 a.m.
Mike’s Michigan Concession stand will also open at 11 a.m.
Seaway Valley Jumpers will bring bounce houses for 11 a.m. and Kids Place will bring arts and crafts to share with the children starting at 1 p.m.
The Ogdensburg GreenMarket will open at noon.
Ogtoberfest will feature music by Carl Perkisn at 1:30 p.m., the 10th Mountain Division Band from 3 to 5 p.m., and Surfers-R-Cool from 5 to 7 p.m.
Foods such as bratwurst and sauerkraut, big pretzels, strudel, cider and donuts, and fried dough will be available.
A Harvest Raffle, consisting of a turkey, potatoes, apples, and winter squash, pumpkins, garlic, onions and more will also be held.
A beer garden, with $2 admission, will be offered.
Fireworks will be set off at 7 p.m.
The Visitor’s Center requests that no booze, bikes, or dogs be brought to the festival.
