
OGDENSBURG – The St. Marguerite D'Youville Academy will host its eighth annual carnival Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24-26 at Father Martin Field.
The carnival will feature rides by Ontario Amusements Friday from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
There will be games, concessions, face painting, and live entertainment.
There will be a chicken barbeque on Friday from 4 p.m. until sold out at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The price is $9 per half of chicken.
An ice cream social will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. The cost is $2 per person.
A breakfast buffet will be held on Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The cost is $6 for adults, $3.50 for ages 6-10, and kids under 5 eat for free.
Also on Saturday starting at 9 a.m., the SMDA Fall Soccer Tournament will take place. The teams may consist of all girls, all boys, or co-ed.
Team pairings are done on a random basis and each team is guaranteed three games.
This will be four on four plus the goalie.
Age groups are as follows: 8-10yrs olds, 11-14 yr olds, and 15-18 yr olds. The cost is $7 per player.
