OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum will hold its 2014 NYS Juried Art Exhibit from Oct. 4 to Jan. 11.
The exhibit is open to adult artists working in New York state. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 1. Entries may be made through email to lafo@fredericremington.org, or on a CD, in .jpg or .tiff format.
Two-dimensional and three-dimensional works made within the last five years are eligible. Acceptable media include paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, photographs, computer-generated art and mixed media. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 36 inches wide by 72 inches high. Sculpture must not exceed 60 inches high by 24 inches wide and 24 inches deep. Submissions should include up to three digital files on CD, with the completed entry form and payment of $15 for museum members, or $25 for non-members. Works submitted must have never been exhibited at the Remington.
