OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg Free Academy’s George Hall Auditorium will host the L.A. Theatre Works’ performance of Jane Austin’s “Pride and Prejudice” Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7:45 p.m.
The performance is based on Jane Austen’s romantic comedy of the same name. Austen is famous for her wit and colorful characters, as well as her exploration of morals and relationships. The performance will celebrate the upcoming 200th anniversary of the novel’s publication.
This romantic comedy is the tale of the Bennets, a family blessed with five daughters and a mother desperate to marry them off. The witty, independent Elizabeth meets the arrogant but honorable suitor, Mr. Darcy.
