OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce will host its annual scavenger hunt Saturday, Sept. 8.
Dave Sickler is assisting Kevin McDonough in creating the clues. These two very knowledgeable local history buffs are sure to come up with some very tough and long-forgotten pieces of Ogdensburg history.
Bill and Elaine Seymour will again furnish pictures of local landmarks to identify.
At 1 p.m. your team of four start out from Hosmer’s Marina. Teams must use their knowledge of the history, trivia, legends and people of Ogdensburg to find all seven challenging clues and landmarks. Teams will need to answer all the questions, scavenge around the city for the “treasures,” identify 10 pictures of places in Ogdensburg and return with answers by 7 p.m.
The winning team will receive a $200 cash prize.
