OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum will open its 18th middle and high school art exhibit with an opening reception on Saturday, January 17 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The exhibit will be on display in the Richard E. Winter Gallery through Feb. 22. The reception offers a chance to meet young artists, and some of their teachers, and is open to the public.

This year's art is from students at Little River Community School in Canton, Parishville-Hopkinton, Salmon River, Norwood-Norfolk, Massena, Morristown, Heuvelton, Madrid-Waddington, Hammond and Clifton-Fine central schools and Ogdensburg Free Academy. The museum would like to recognise the efforts of the teachers in developing these young artists and for the extra effort in partipating in this annual exhibition.
