OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Public Library recently announced seven summer events it will host in the coming weeks.
“Mad Science” is for children ages 7 and up. It includes science experiments for “mad scientists.” Participants will be making silly puddy, bouncing balls and planting minions. It is June 27 at 3 p.m.

Improv for kids is for children ages 9 and up. The improv acting class for kids with fun games meets July 8 at 3 p.m.
PBS character story time is for children who love Curious George, who will be visiting the library to help read a story on July 21 at 1 p.m.
Zombie makeup workshop. The Family event is for those who need help getting ready to zombie walk. Come to the library early to apply some zombie make-up and fake blood. Wear old clothes. It is Aug. 2 at 10 a.m.
Zombie walk in the park is a family event. Dress as a zombie and walk around the park for summer reading. There will also be zombie games. It is set for Aug. 2 at noon
“Mad Science - Playing with your food” is for children ages 9 and up. Participants will do science experiments on food, some will be fun to eat and some not so much. It is slated for Aug. 9 at 11 a.m.
“Humans vs. Zombies” is for teens ages 13 and up. It includes a zombie game and water fight in library park on Aug. 23 at 11 a.m.
